This policy applies to all users of the Async POS mobile application (Android) and the associated web dashboard. By using Async POS, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the application.
We collect only the information necessary to deliver and improve the Async POS service:

All permissions are requested at runtime and used solely for the stated purpose. You can revoke permissions at any time from your device settings.

All data is stored on secure cloud servers with encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest. We enforce role-based access control, ensuring users can only access data relevant to their assigned role. Regular security audits and automated monitoring are in place to detect and respond to threats.
While we implement industry-standard safeguards, no system is entirely immune to vulnerabilities. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected users in accordance with applicable law.
We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active. Transaction records are retained for a minimum of 12 months to support reporting and auditing needs. Upon account deletion, personal data is permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Async POS is a business application intended for use by adults (18+) operating or working within a commercial business. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately for removal.

We do not integrate third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or social media trackers.
The Async POS web dashboard uses strictly necessary session cookies to maintain authenticated login sessions. No advertising or tracking cookies are used. The mobile application does not use browser cookies; it uses secure local storage solely to cache authentication tokens and app preferences.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Async POS after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
